Tennessee Title Insurance Education Requirements

Whether you are preparing for your first license or maintaining your current license, start by understanding the education requirements that apply to you.

Pre-Licensing Requirements

Required Education: 30 approved hours, unless exempt.

State Examination: Yes, unless exempt.

Choose education that meets the requirements for your license and review the course approval details before enrolling. Completing a course does not replace your other licensing obligations.

Continuing Education Requirements

Required Hours: 24 approved hours every 2 years.

Required Subjects and Other Details: At least 3 of your 24 hours must cover ethics, unless you qualify for an exemption.
