Whether you are preparing for your first license or maintaining your current license, start by understanding the education requirements that apply to you.

Pre-Licensing Requirements

Required Education: No mandatory pre-licensing education course.

State Examination: Yes, unless exempt.

You can use exam preparation materials to build your understanding of title insurance. Optional preparation does not replace your examination or other licensing requirements.

Continuing Education Requirements

Required Hours: 16 approved hours every 2 years.

Required Subjects and Other Details: Complete 2 ethics hours, 2 legislative update hours, and 12 producer general hours.
